Dopo tanti mesi nei quali il listino è rimasto praticamente “dormiente”, Acer, senza volerlo, ha annunciato il rilascio di un nuovo netbook che probabilmente sarà dotato della piattaforma Pine-Trail. Si chiamerà Aspire One 532h, e la sua scoperta deriva dall’aggiunta del suo nome all’interfaccia per il download dei driver del sito acer.com.
Sarà dotato di un processore Intel Atom N450, del processore grafico GMA 3150 con uno schermo da 10 pollici alla risoluzione 1280×720 pixel.
L’N450 è il primo processore della nuova serie Atom, con una frequenza di clock di 1.66 Ghz come il precedente N280, ma con un consumo di energia notevolmente inferiore grazie ad alcune modifiche tecniche.
Sarà sicuramente dotato di Windows 7, in quanto le licenze per netbook di Windows XP non possono superare come risoluzione del monitor 1024×600 pixel.
Si presume che costerà circa 299 sterline, l’equivalente di circa 330 euro. Possiamo ipotizzare un lancio solo dopo gennaio 2010, quando questo nuovo processore sarà rilasciato.
